Mohammad is currently a Mathematics Lecturer at the University of Sydney, holding a PhD in Mathematics from the same institution. With extensive experience in mathematics competition training, he brings a wealth of teaching expertise and profound academic knowledge to his students. Mohammad works closely with Luke, another esteemed tutor, to mentor members of the Australian Mathematical Olympiad Team. Under their guidance, many students have achieved outstanding results in top international competitions such as the IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) and EGMO (European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad).
In addition to his teaching and mentoring roles, Mohammad serves as an appointed team leader for the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT), where he leads students in international competitions and summer camp training programs. He excels at unlocking students’ mathematical potential, emphasizing the development of creative thinking and rigorous logical reasoning skills. Mohammad is dedicated to helping students excel on the global mathematical stage and achieve exceptional accomplishments.
