Within just the past four years, her students have secured two “First in Course” state titles, including the most recent 2024 HSC. Over this same period, she has produced more than 16 state rankers in EAL/D (with only 10 awarded each year across NSW). In 2023 alone, 25 of the state’s top 60 Band 6 students were taught by Carmen — representing over 30% of all Band 6 achievers in NSW.
English Standard Achievements: In English Standard, where the Band 6 rate is less than 0.3% statewide, Carmen specialises in driving substantial rank improvements and ensuring students exceed their school predictions. Notable successes include students moving from 60th place in their year level to the top 20 within two terms, as well as helping Band 2–3 students climb securely into Band 5.

Each year, around 83% of her students achieve Band 5 or higher, with many securing Band 6 in EAL/D and others consolidating strong Band 5 results in English Standard.
